I was gonna suggest Eriksson, but I didn't realize he was a 30/30 player last year & has played 80+ games the past two years. Maybe that deal's not as bad as I thought.

Ladd's been pretty healthy his entire career, just like Backes. But I think I agree now... though Staal's 3y/3.5m might prove to be pretty terrible too.

Though the Canadiens just signed Radulov to a one year deal. That might be it.

They didn't have a backup. He gets an NHL job. Kudos to him; always heard nothing but absolutely raving & high praise for him & his impact on the locker room here. But there was no room for him here with Murray, Fleury, Jarry, Maguire's rise at WBS, & soon to be Filip Gustavsson.

Yup. I was never really comfortable with him in the net, but off the ice I really came to like the guy. Especially after the "Mr. Game One" video was released.

... actually, I might give this to the Frans Nielsen deal. Already 32, never scored more than 47 58 (edit: sorry, misread) points, 6 years at over 5 million per. He's good defensively, but at that price? Is this what Bonino can expect to get?
