Opposite. Perron is a very good player. In the context of the market, that might be the biggest bargain of the day...For Perron, not for StLThat's a good deal.Perron back to STL. 2 years, $3.875m per.

Yeah, especially given where they are at in their...rebuild...? Whatever they're doing. Jim Benning is one of the worst GMs I've seen...so he keeps on keeping on with that...

Perron scored at a 59 point pace in Anaheim last season after being moved. Even if he's "only good on a new team" - this is a new team. He makes less than Darren Helm who is a 25 point player...Andrew Shaw...Dave Bolland makes like twice that...I'm not saying two wrongs make a right...but that's a bargain...even if he's only good for one of the years...

No no, we are talking DAVID Perron. HA!Opposite. Perron is a very good player. In the context of the market, that might be the biggest bargain of the day...For Perron, not for StLThat's a good deal.Perron back to STL. 2 years, $3.875m per.
I supported him when Rutherford got him, but his stock fell HARD over those two years. He has proven that he is more a relatively non-physical 15g 30pt guy who likes to completely vanish, rather than the 30g 60pt guy that he was in 13-14. Nice guy, but not a good use of cap space.

I'd rather pay that to Okposo than Lucic.

Last year he was 12g-36pts... close enough, and that includes the amazing Anaheim run that he had. This has never happened in his career.Source of the post relatively non-physical 15g 30pt guy
I did say "more of a ... than a ..." in reference to my original thoughts/hopes when we first got him.

Eric Staal now makes less than Brandon Sutter. That's funny to me for some reason.
