He is playing his home games two km from where I live so I can see him live quite often if I want toSo that’s what happened to Roy.
I was wondering whether he would make Team Canada. I would say he shows some flashes of skill but that he is not dominating SHL. He has 8 goals and 17 assists in 30 games for Linköping. Ryan Lasch leads the league with 12-29 in 35 games.
But if Team Canada thinks that he is good enough to play in a scoring role...

The U.S. Army has officially filed a trademark challenge against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Counterpoint: people now know those two things exist because of the challenge filed against VGK.The Army says it has used the Golden Knights nickname since the late 1960s for its parachute team, public relations and recruiting, and claims it owns "common law rights" for the colour schemes that combine black and gold and yellow and white.
The challenge by the U.S. Army was first reported by Sportslogos.net.
The filing also says the NHL team's choice of black-and-gold and yellow-and-white colour schemes for its uniforms, advertising and marketing adds "to the likelihood of confusion of the public" because the same colours are used on the uniforms worn by West Point's hockey team and the paint scheme on the building where they play their home games, Tate Rink.

Yeah, this has been the case for a while now...he wasn't protected in the expansion draft and he really doesn't play (injuries played a role, certainly)...but I think he played his first minor league games this year...but yeah, he's been available for a while...
