I have destroyed tapes but have yet to see them in action.
My only knowledge of the various schemes comes from having to study them for CISSP, CEH, Sec+, etc. It has always felt anachronistic.
Same. I found some old tape backups in my company from the 1980's...naturally, we had nothing to play them on if we ever needed to anyhow.

say he'd broken the guy's hand? 10 games with an appeal from the 'players' association

or wrecked the guy's knee permanently? 10 games with an appeal from the 'players' association

or concussed this guy?

He shouldn't have been frozen out until someone asked if he could ask the question. That's the point.

Maybe point out the fact that it took 47 minutes (AND being called out by another reporter) for the League to finally allow one of the key writers covering the scandal to ask a question?

I don't understand what PWHA was supposed to do differently. NHL people were behaving like aholes. It took 47 minutes to take a corrective action, which included an action by (what I suppose) PWHA member. But because NHL caved, PWHA is NOT supposed to call the league out for their a-holish behavior and act like nothing happened?

The league was purposely avoiding the reporter, and thus, the questions they don’t want to have to answer. His PHWA status had absolutely nothing to do with why he wasn’t called upon.

People just are dying to dunk on the NHL and it's really annoying.

If you're the PR person responsible for the league, do you call on / tell them to call on someone that might make you answer a question that makes you look bad?

Reporter did a good thing, but actions beget reactions. He knew the risks.

Or, or... maybe someone needs to hold the league to a higher standard because whatever has been happening lately obviously isn't working.

I obviously don't know much about Pittsburgh suburbs - but is Armstrong expected to display this level of idiocy (both on the part of students AND parents)?
