Meanwhile nobody wants to talk about Dubinsky. I forgot he was a thing until that post.

If you want to talk irrelevant NTP66s, look no further than Brandon Dubinsky.

Ovi is also good, and maybe a defensible choice.

But if you’re a professional failure like Dubinsky, maybe be less emboldened to make inflammatory comments about superior people.

Yeah, I forgot about him until I saw that post, too. Once a loser, always a loser.

Well, Ovy was less likely to end his seasons...so that's fair enough...

Honestly thought he was retired. And rivalry? Dubinsky is a professional loser.

I feel like I haven't seen Dubinsky in years...if he's in the league, he's doing a hell of a job hiding it...

So the answer is he’s not in the league. Chronic wrist problems from jerking off to Sid highlights. LTIR since the start of last season. Last game was the BJs getting knocked out of the playoffs on May 6, 2019 by the Bruins. His career is over. Stole $54MM in the process.

Everyone on waivers yesterday cleared. Andrei Svechnikov's older brother is on waivers today...

You idiot, Andrei Svechnikov's entry level deal is up this year. If we have his brother, maybe he'll force a trade to us...

Or...we can continue our streak of having the lesser brother...

Interesting the good Svech is in a contract year. I was expecting a top 10 scoring finish TBH but he hasn't made the jump to that level yet. Good for the Canes, they probably won't have to pay him 9 million or whatever

Saw a Reddit thread about the term generational talent and how it’s generally offense-only.

In my life, the only goalie I’d describe that way is Hasek. Brodeur wasn’t scary don’t @ me. And I don’t know enough about Roy’s prime to be educated.

D-men...I’m unqualified, but Lidstrom obviously. And I’d say Chara, tbh, because he’s a freak.

Give me Brodeur over Hasek. Brodeur forced run changes with the trapezoid and other stuff. Hasek just played like a dumb dumb

Orr was a generational talent...Hasek was a generational talent...that's it in the expansion era, I won't bring up anything further back because you guys will get all shriveled...

Chara was not the least bit interesting outside the trivia of being tall...if Chara's a generational talent, then so is Scott Stevens or Chris Pronger...

The term generational talent usually comes with real, takeover a game ability...Lidstrom played a lot of the game, well, not on his heels, that's unfair, but certainly on the middle of his foot...he's a top 10 or 12 player ever for me, but not a generational talent...

Side bar since we’re in semantics mode. The Rust thing...imo he’s not a first tier RW but he’s a 1RW.

I think the tier system is a better measurement. It’s like prime Bergeron. Certainly a 1C but never a Tier 1 C.

It’s also a fun way to rustle jimmies on places like Reddit. Call Couturier a tier 2 center, watch flyboys melt down and then posit...oh, so you’d put him with mcdavid?
