What if Miller is not actually capable of feeling remorse for what he did? ie: the chemical reaction to spur that simply aren't there... or physical damage/lack of development in that area of the brain. Mental illness or developmental issue.

Maybe he is a non-psychopathic high functioning sociopath. Which he can not help.

The spectrum is wide.

He can be trusted to play a contact sport then.

Different path, same ending.

Also, underlying mental issues on his part would've likely come out during his hearing. Doesn't seem like that's the case.

I want to hate it, but I can't.
That's where I am with those. I don't know how I'd feel if another team copied them though. Few teams have the colors to pull it off in a way where the right color would pop. I think San Jose and Philly could both pull it off.

I was gonna suggest the Pens, but didn't they already have this jersey about two years ago?

Gally to the Sens on a one year deal @ 1.05m.

This isn’t meant to be mean, but it is going to sound like it. Can you imagine being as bad at your job as he has been and still being able to sign a million dollar contract?

Draft capital...

That's why a kid like Curtis Lazar can be traded for a 2nd round pick in the midst of a 1 point season four years after he was drafted...

Yea yeah yeah. I get that. He’s still an asset.

But he will be paid a schmill to be probably the worst player in the league.

Well, if nothing else, there's plenty of ice time for him and no expectations...that team is donut squad (so Gally will need to overcome that from the left wing)...Colin White, Logan Brown, Chris Tierney, Artem Anisimov are their centers...I can't tell if I put them in order or not...

Those jerseys are 660000% better than the retro trash that was leaked a week or two ago.

definitely agree. Those leaked diagonal jerseys looked like something you'd find hanging under the roof of one of those yinzer stores in the strip.

Those stadium series jerseys are amazing. Like you said, much better than the leaked reverse retros and better than the current thirds. Bonus points for the logo not being used for anything other than the SS jersey/merch. The 2017 jerseys were cool and all but I hate that the weird non-triangle logo stuck around.

*shrug* it's the right thing to do at this point in time.

He shouldn't have been drafted to begin with but little too late for that.

It's funny, is all. You were in tears for hours the other day. Now you're all "nbd."

You and I must have a different definition of "in tears".

Also, cool they renounced their pick. But they shouldn't have made it in the first place, which is why my reaction is more "meh, k" than whatever you thought it was going to be.

It feels like they're only doing the right thing because of the backlash, not because of the psychopath Miller is. It's the right gesture, but it feels empty. Similar to how Miller apologized to everyone but his victim and only showed remorse for being caught and facing consequence for it.

You never answered. If he's not fit to play hockey, what is he fit to do?
