In the sense that he's a bad NHL coach, or that he always looks lost and confused?

I really think it's all about development right now for them...if their young players aren't progressing then that's where you got problems...that roster isn't made to win...there's like five players not old enough to drink on their blueline haha

Can't comment on the first part, since I only watch them play us; but he nails the second part.

They have enough talent to not lose 9 games in a row.

Every team can make that claim though. Yet it happens. We have the talent to not be .500...they have the talent to not lose all of their games (well, maybe not in net)...it's tough when you have a lot of young players in your lineup sometimes, even though fans clamor to play the youth and sit the veterans often, that lineup is very green and they lose close games...they lose leads in the 3rd period a lot...when you have youth and bad goaltending, it's difficult to hold leads...which doesn't speak contradictory to your point necessarily, just making conversation...

Ahh, the old the coach doesn't look like he knows what he is doing so he can't possibly know what he is doing. Come on, bros. Don't be like that.

I just call it how I see it. I don't pretend to be an expert.

9 wins in a row for the Eagles, 9 losses in a row for the Flyers...it's perfect symmetry!

Careful, if the Flyers get the 1st overall pick the Eagles win the Super Bowl.

The two are completely unrelated. I just find it funny that he always looks lost.

when flyers fans say most of those are OT/SO losses, i wish i could brush that off as rationalizing, but between that and the Haksol's imminent firing, I expect them to bounce back a little and have a strong second half. sadly.

They've won 8 games. Just Buffalo and Arizona have less I think...they're not good. That goaltending would need to have a revelation to turn this thing around...the team may get better, as the defense should develop, but they're not a threat...

Their goaltending has been the one bright spot through this slump. Elliot has been *gasp* good lately

They had to do something, with half of their roster currently injured.

Just found out that Rakell and Silfverberg are injured too now. So it's Perry and a bunch of AHLers now?

Honestly, that's about the long and short of it...I'm hoping this epidemic of infirmity doesn't cut down on Andrew Cogliano's Eli-Manning-like streak...

The International Olympic Committee will be deciding to ban Team Russia from all sports for the upcoming Winter Olympics in Korea soon (Friday?). If Russians are indeed banned, it is expected KHL will not allow any of its players to participate (despite already budgeting a long break during the Olympics) as a retaliatory move.
