I’m high on Hischier, but that’s a spicy meatball of a contract. He’s a very good 200 foot player, but the production isn’t to the level of that contract yet. It can be, but not yet.

I just traded for Bob in my fantasy league of note. I think he turns it around.
I traded Hertl and Holtby for Giroux and Bobrovsky. I'm confident Florida will figure it out...
He's really my third option in net anyhow, so it's gonna be fine regardless...

I don’t trust Bob to make me a big save in a big spot anymore than I can throw him

caps imo are better this year than last. vrana is a boss and the d is improved by the subtraction of orpik and nisky, the latter being a good player still but his lack of footspeed isn't the direction they're headed.
kempney is really good. fast and physical and can score.
orlov in full bloom.
and caps gudas looks better than flyers/lightning gudas. always heard he's underrated but he's showing it this year.
and their bottom six just whizzes around like maniacs.
and frkn backstrom man...most underrated player in the league award goes to him

People can nob-slob Ovechkin all they want. Backstrom has been the best player on the caps for the last decade.

Hawks traded Perlini to Detroit for a D prospect Regula.
Bobfather says Perlini wanted a fresh start. How fresh of a start could you want, though, having been traded to the team within the calendar year?
Was he only getting 3rd line time?

Roman Josi signs an eight-year extension worth just over $9 million per season, with a full NMC. That could be a poor deal in the late stages of it given that it doesn't even start until next season.

Gabriel Landeskog out indefinitely with a lower-body injury

They just dumped a 30yo $9Mx3 guy to go with a 30yo $9M+x8 guy.

Josi's a stud, no doubt. If he were on the Pens, I probably wouldn't balk at the contract, either. Just saying that he'll be 38 when it ends, and that's a big cap hit at that age.

He'll develop an allergy by then.
