Biz is kinda dumb but he embraces his own dumbness which is endearing.

I think he serves a good role there. Really like most of his takes when they talk hockey news on chiclets.

Also, he almost always supports other players as opposed to that loser milbury who puts the leagues stars on blast every intermission

Kinda dumb? I would bet he doesn’t even know what icing is. Yeah he’s a goofball and he might be attractive to a younger audience, but does he grow the game? I don’t see it.

Studio analysts are already superficial as hell to pander to the widest possible audience. Every bit of 'insight' is aimed towards the guy that turned on the channel by accident. Might as well have fun with it.

He does grow the game. "Stoolies" love him.

I have a cousin that became a Florida Panthers STH strictly because he loved spittin chiclets. He had never watched a minute of hockey prior

I don't care about any of this, now that Milbury is gone.

I did. Enjoyed it very much, just an absolute wild story from start to finish.

Biz will be able to play the part of a grown up and he’s more charismatic that the replacement level option. And no one gives a hoot about analysis. They just want a hockey-adjacent viewing experience. He checks the box.

I watch polished guys and hear the Peanuts teacher voice. There’s nothing that Weekes or any of the other empty suits say that matters. Bring on the meatheads. Or don’t. Nobody is gonna care. But better Biz than someone like the lady who does color for NBC and literally never stops talking.

It is more enjoyable to watch a game on mute, and not watch the intermissions at all, than to watch national broadcasts or even most local crews. A half eaten sandwich laying on the desk would add more to an intermission that most of the stuff spewed from the mouths of the crews over the last decade.

Bissonnette hasn't done a game yet and he is still better than the crew last year.

McGuire getting off of the air was a great start, and the good changes keep coming.

Some people are saying this might be correct. Either way, bad look. Two different shades of blue. Figure it out

Damn those jerseys are fire. Also I didn't know they'd be wearing an Esposito patch this year. That's cool.

Is this one of those times I should just laugh and play along...?

The response is exactly what JR was talking about. JR was a proven (although declining) commodity. He got a $4.9 million contract for being on a 63 point pace the previous season. Turns out the contract didn't work because JR declined hard over the big sleep...but the two tweets are kind of talking past each other, no...?

Apparently Russian players who received the Sputnik vaccine (Kaprizov and others, likely) are part of those 10-15, because either the league or the US government doesn't recognize that vaccine as legitimate/actually providing protection.

Still can’t confirm that I’ll get every Pens game, so I’m sticking with CI this season. If I can confirm this, I’ll switch next season.

Just laugh at JR. He's a grumpy old man acting like contracts are out of control in a salary cap era vs when he grew up without one. It's a dumb argument even if that specific tweet or whatever doesn't check out
