Gotta say, I honestly don't care that the Caps won, but I still don't like seeing Tom Wilson with the Cup. Or Kuznetsov, for that matter, but to a lesser extent.

Edit: Forgot about Oshie. **** that NTP66, too.

Multiple players' wives have tweeted statements essentially confirming this. I have a hard time believing Hoffman didn't know (or at least wasn't aware of the animosity she had towards the Karlssons). What a c***.

Any thoughts @meow - a little Russian goalie iso footage...we always talk about Canadian, American and Finnish goalies...any thoughts on the athletic Russian's technique and maybe how it varies from the other three countries that get talked about most often...?

Pretty typical Russian style from Sorokin in that video. Play ultra aggressive when the puck is out high. Play extra deep when the puck is down low. Really wide butterfly. Pretty good reading and anticipation. Horrendous hands. Don’t set themselves up for success on second plus chances because when they go down, there is a little slide to the side of the net the shot is headed to. So anytime a rebound goes back to the other side, they are moving away from it from the get go. They just don’t play the percentages enough to be consistently successful in NA.

The woman is insane. And it seems impossible Hoffman had no idea. If he knew and turned a blind eye, he is as vile as his girlfriend.

Mike Hoffman’s name is being circulated in the rumour mill.

I assumed the Senators’ best goal scorer was placed back on the market because of a rationale that emphasized Hoffman’s limitations as a player instead of an appreciation for the things that he does well. Having seen the lengths the Senators have gone to overlook the deficiencies of lesser-skilled players and keep them around, I expressed this frustration on Twitter. After publishing this tweet, someone I really respect reached out to me to state that Hoffman will be moved this summer and it has nothing to do with his on-ice performance. Without getting into the full details, this individual stated that “**** went down” and “he’s gone” before expressing a hope that the full story sees the light of day.

Seeing the light of day came quickly.

Yeah, he's a crazy ass in the net...he gives up about negative one goals per game over there, but so does every one (I think only one goalie had a sub-.920 save pct over there or some ****)...I was looking at his glove and how low and open and seemingly not ready to catch it is...I didn't think Vasilevskiy did that to that extent...but I have serious doubts about Sorokin (who over there til 2020 at least), but his stats make it seem like I'm telling tales about him being a real boom or bust guy...

Kind of thinking Hoffman is a clown or he's being abused by his fiancee. Either way, he's in a tough spot and is likely going to get traded away for nothing.

I don't see EK65 even giving a chance to stay at Ottawa now. I'd just want a fresh new start somewhere else.
