I wonder how much of a realistic threat the Broons are to win the Cup this year? They are playing scary good hockey, and it seems like their system is so much more explosive now that Julien is gone.

Wanted to follow-up on something Errey said during the broadcast against the Ducks the other day. He said one of the Ducks missed the empty net because the ice is titled so water could run off of it.

That's not true, right? I've played on shitty rinks that have a noticeable depression when you get to the boards in the corner (looking at you now defunct Golden Mile), but I don't think that professional level ice has a tilt to it. Is he implying that it's crowned like a highway (higher in the middle than on the sides)?

Help me.

I don't know what he could be referencing...their ice is soft and slushy, that's the word around the league...it's a warm, multi-purpose rink with crappy ice...but the tilt thing sounds like it was lost in translation from whatever Errey's first language is, I presume it's Orkan...

Could depend on how long and how well some of these guys handle prolonged use of PED's - looking at you Marchand, Bergeron and... Chara. McAvoy is really good but cmon

Spittin Chiclets needs an intervention. And not just cause the one guy was stoned as f this week.

The format is off the rails. One NHL topic per week + 30 minutes with an unwanted obscure guest + 3 listener questions that are less and less about hockey.

Take a walk around the league for half the show, cut the guest time down to 15 minutes and then ask Whitney some inside baseball questions. I don't need to hear RA's favorite karaoke song.

Just not as fun anymore.

I still haven't gone back after their first episode after the last cup game was 15 minutes about the series and the rest was an interview with a recently retired Bruin. Deleted.
