Random number generator...I took all Americans that played 700+ games and sorted them points and then made a 20-cell random number generator in Excel...here's the list...Yeah, that's even dumber yet. But, yes, I saw that. It's basically like saying, "guys, it's not that bad, I was wearing the 'Kick Me' sign on my chest"...I've seen some bad lists (even given the self-imposed fog of war that he's put on it), this may well be the worst list I've ever seen...it's a complete random number generator...
In fact...hang on a second brb...

Lot of d-men on the move today...
Joey Keane to Carolina, massive human Julien Gauthier going back to NYR...
Brenden Dillon (50%) to Washington, 2 and a conditional 3 going back to SJ...Dillon is another Gudas for them...
Marco Scandella to St. Louis, a 2 and a conditional 4 going back to Mtl...not dissimilar to Dillon really, Blues give up the 4 if they win 2 rounds...
Dylan DeMelo to Winnipeg, a 3 going back to Ottawa...

Gauthier is your typical power forward. Massively huge and a speedster that takes it to the hoop like an angry old man trying to send back soup a lot a deli. Problem is he only plays 1 of his every 7 shifts

Richter?a case I would buy...and I think it's a case that the majority would make if the Rangers had kept the right goalie in the 1992 expansion draft...

It’s not done yet, but VGK and LA are working to try to finalize a deal that would send defenceman Alec Martinez to the Golden Knights. Most telling sign will be if Martinez is in or out of the Kings’ lineup tonight vs. WPG.

I believe that Beezer was the better goalie...Richter was a little younger, fine...and I don't know their contracts...but Beezer with the '94 through '97 that Richter had in NY...that's a HOFer...now, neither of them make it...Richter?a case I would buy...and I think it's a case that the majority would make if the Rangers had kept the right goalie in the 1992 expansion draft...

Yeah, I touched on that in response to the Toffoli trade criticism earlier...that's a big blow...but they got a very, very similar player in Toff...
If Toff falls off a little and becomes a third liner, he is gonna rich in VanCity...

Im listening to Glenn Healy talk about the 93 islander series.
I remember one of the most poorly officiated series I've ever seen.
Typical NHL... probably ruined a Lemieux vs Gretzky matchup because they just love 4th line trash competing with clutch and grab.
They had Brian Burke on a few weeks ago - guy was a neanderthal... he should in no way ever be around anything related to the NHL as a league.

That's where I stopped listening because nearly 30 yrs later it still rankles but imo Barasso was the main reason they lost -particularly his play in the 3rd period of game 6Im listening to Glenn Healy talk about the 93 islander series.

Panthers GM Dale Tallon tells me the agent for Denis Malgin had asked him several times for a trade out of Florida. He got his wish.
