Kase has had 100 chances. Kubalik has shown he can play with good forwards and I'm pretty sure plays any forward position. Would have much rather had him than kapanen at similar cost.

And of course, Tomas, Mr. Rutta to keep our CZE footprint alive

How do “future considerations” actually work? Like, they have to agree on something at some point, right? What’s to keep them from just “Yeah nah **** you” a thousand times?

I think there's a pre-agreed upon selection, if you will

I would also think that if the one team screwed them over that no one would be willing to deal with them in the future. burning a bridge, if you will. besides, Vegas doesn't really want anything back for Patches.

Future considerations can be nothing or anything. There are instances where it was nothing or a round a golf or a dollar...all the way up to future considerations being a young Robyn Regehr if memory serves...

Also, the Golden Knights front office is hilariously awful.
There's a reason the Caps sent McPhee packing. Vegas now knows that reason.

Pittsburgh doesn't have an arena district at all haha.
Pittsburgh's "arena district", and I'm using that term very very loosely, is from Shale's to the Souper Bowl, +/- 100 ft.

Haven't the Kraken suffered enough?

Also, yay, west coast is best coast for people I don't need to hear from.

That's odd...I thought he was all about Chicago...

This isn't great because now I can't listen to John Forslund anymore...

Vitek Vanecek (NJD) avoids arbitration hearing: 3 years/$10.2M

Last year he apparently made $750K

I like Vanecek but that’s a poopy deal for the team.

My fantasy team is wishing Vanacek becomes something more than a platoon guy.

Yeah, I'm not surprised. I'm not sure if the trade will be that quick...but the Tkachuk-Calgary relationship hasn't been strong for a while...

That McDavid Game 5 OT winner looks to be as damaging to Calgary as Kunitz's winner was to Ottawa.

Honestly curious as to how much of the talent exodus from Calgary is due to friction between the players and Darryl Sutter's coaching style.
