My two cents is that he should have to grind his way to the NHL by starting at the lowest levels of pro hockey. That way, he will have ample time to rehab himself and prove that he isn’t the shmuck he was as a 16 year old or whatever. But let him get 400 minor league games in to prove it.

Canes did each team in the East as Halloween candy. This one might be my favorite.

Also, probably going to be the last I say on this, I think we've discussed this enough.
Good, then the bullying in this thread will finally stop.

It is the worst game I have ever played...it's so easy to play defense...you can't use anyone's momentum against them...it's horrid...**** footer man. I played a game to help out a friend short on players and never again

I get the thought, but this reeks of non-hockey people meddling in hockey. No body checking would be like 15th on my list of things to do.

I think they should also have a 2-stick lengths defense rule to make sure nobody gets too close.

Make everyone play with Chara’s stick. Even if someone could manage puck handling with something a foot taller than them the defense will be able to poke check from halfway across the rink.

I would imagine that internal spread through team travel, locker rooms, etc would be a much larger concern than spread between two opposing teams during play.
Why not mandate full face shields instead?

Those fish bowls are tough to breathe in for me...which, I guess is the point in this case haha
Hockey Randomness
No doubt it’d be tough and an adjustment for the players. In my mind that’d be better than totally changing the game though. But then, I don’t have to play in the shield so what do I know? Those fish bowls are tough to breathe in for me...which, I guess is the point in this case haha

So if OHL has no body checking...does that mean that Auston Matthews isn't eligible to be hit at home in January...?

The fish bowls are an option. No spitting. No post whistle scrums.
