The #Blackhawks have acquired defenseman Slater Koekkoek (AAV of $865,000) and a 2019 5th round pick from the Lightning in exchange for defenseman Jan Rutta and a 2019 7th round pick.

Pretty even swap. Koekkoek can skate and do almost nothing else. Rutta is a fine insurance policy. Sort of sets the market for Michael Del Zotto in a lot of ways...

Philly traded Jordan Weal to Arizona for Jacob Graves and a 6th. I have never heard of Jacob Graves.

Kind of an odd deal, maybe it's just a shake up trade...Shore is smart and can dish, Cogs is fast and has no offense...

@meow little USNTDP look at (hopefully) next great, and well-anchored - American hero...Spencer Knight. The college games vs. NTDP aren't exactly a hype fest, but he looks pretty cool and composed in these clips...doesn't chase the play around like young Jonathan Quick, which I see a lot of people trying to compare him to because he's American...I don't see that though at all...I'm not sure that I don't see more Holtby in him than Price...
