I think it's called floorball? Basically indoor dek hockey with a wiffle ball and sticks with blades that look like a lacrosse/hockey mashup. Big in Europe/Scandanavia.

I know there’s a lot of people who don’t like it, and I will be the first to tell you that it’s a fine line. I have done things that have stepped over that line, and I’ve paid the price for it. But you know what? There’s a lot of people out there in the hockey world who love to say, “Winning is everything. It’s the only thing.”

I’ve totally misread the situation. He is simply calculated and acting out of pure necessity.

From a purely competitive standpoint, the first round of the playoffs has been about as disappointing as ever, no? Two sweeps already, several other series (WPG-MIN, PIT-PHL although that's been fun to watch, TOR-BOS, TB-NJ, NSH-COL) are all 3-1, and the gap in skill level is pretty notable in each of those. The only 2-2 series is WAS-CBJ, and it sure feels like Columbus is rolling over all of a sudden.

I get that the individual games have been exciting at times, but in terms of watching the long playoff series, this first round has kinda sucked.
