There’s another one where Commodore was confusing himself with someone meaningful. Babs basically like, “Who? Oh...uhhh...yeah he was out of shape” but in his head, “IDGAF it is what it is”.
It’s like Directors/VPs who shuffle around associates/analysts at work like theyre chess pieces. Babs should/could be a better human, but I think Commie is misreading what he’s entitled to.

Both Babs and Commie are most likely at fault here. I’m sure Babs bullied Commie because...well... Babs is an dadhole bully. I bet Commie is exaggerating what happened because Commie is...well... a moron.

Sid was sneaky terrible for that whole tournament. He was overly deferential to worse players and generally succumbed to the moment.
...until that goal.

Yeah, it wasn't a super impressive performance for him overall...but I think if we use the MIMH appraisal system, it was the greatest performance of all time...

Didn’t Stalock say he was going to retire if he gets claimed? Maybe he said that when he got waived earlier in the year...

I've not heard that before...doesn't make it not true. I hope it's not, because I think he might and he's a fun goalie to watch, one of the last guys around that tries to play more a hybrid game...a little guy that plays some standup...amazing hockey sense...

Edmonton claimed Stalock...so now all of a sudden, retirement makes sense...plus, he's got to wait two weeks before joining the team I think, I wonder if Edmonton can claim him and put him on a conditioning stint to get some games in in the meantime because he's coming off injury...
Connolly cleared...

I forgot Karlsson even existed until watching that. 0G, 4A in 14 games at 30 while in year 2 of an 8 year deal that pays him $11.5MM per season. That's certainly something.

It looks like he is permanently injured AND doesn't care...it's quite a combo...he just has no focus on the ice at all...pickup game level intensity...

Pickup game intensity is a good call. That’s gonna be a fun contract to get rid of.

Steve Stamkos of defensemen. You see the stats, hear the praise but never fear playing against them.

Erik Karlsson, maybe, possibly, was the best player on the planet for a short time...so, I don't buy that...he willed Ottawa to basically the Stanley Cup Final in 2017...I mean, he led the entire NHL in assists one year...he was three assists off the playoff lead in 2017 despite missing a round, one off the plus/minus lead...he was insanely good, and was dangerous every shift and was playing good defense at the time...

I remember just getting that empty feeling in the pit of my stomach every time he touched the puck in the 2017 ECF.
