100 imaginary points to the first person who can guess who this guy is. 50 bonus points if you can also guess his age within 5 years.

I won't spoil who it is, but damn I thought that person was 52-53.

Meth, which Mr. Goalie was busted with last year, is a hell of a drug.

That was my immediate reaction when I found out his actual age. JFC.

When I first saw that pic, I thought TMZ was linking to another article.

Seriously. He has to be a meth addict to look that bad in such a short time. Poor guy.

he was picked up for meth last year.

I'm too lazy to google the story, but I think it was something along the lines of him getting 150 days in prison for possession. He served a fraction of it, like less than a week.

Last season, Ron Hainsey broke (hell, demolished) the NHL record for single season PK TOI%, at 83.38%

That is a ton...but that stat only goes back to 1998. Back in the day, when there were 10+5, that 10th forward often would just kill penalties and little else...I wonder how it would hold up historically...

2013/14 John Carlson, 65.5%

2012/13 Jay McClement, 64.95%

2011/12 Francois Beauchemin, 74.37%

2010/11 Toni Lydman, 63.32%

2009/10 Brad Stuart 62.27%

While we're sending kind of interesting things...I did this research today.

Here's the main 90's goalies and how they fared when playing on zero days rest...

Brodeur 180 GP - 93-70-9-7 2.28 GAA 16 SO
Belfour 106 GP - 57-33-12-1 2.52 GAA 7 SO
Hasek 103 GP - 44-45-9-0 2.44 GAA 12 SO
Joseph 93 GP - 36-33-13-1 2.96 GAA 5 SO
Roy 91 GP - 43-31-14-0 2.76 GAA 4 SO

Marty with some Original 6 level usage...insane. Sprite > Powerade.

The greatest goaltender of all time with an absurd record in that scenario? Not at all surprising.

I'm about to be starting on a top 100 players of all time list with some other learned fellows...so I may be dropping some more interesting history tidbits in here, unless there's protest, along the way...

Whole lot of nothing going on right now in the world anyhow as I think only me and some friends and family of players are watching the Hlinka Tournament... :(

The biggest surprise, as it were, is the usage itself compared to his peers. Almost twice as many games as Roy, Hasek. His GAA being right in line with his career GAA is also nice.

What was Brodeur’s record in back to backs with no rest while playing against Aleksey Morozov?

I know it's a joke, but I wanted to see if I could figure it out reasonably...and I believe I did...

Brodeur is 2-1 in the criteria you laid out. Moreover, 12-3-1 with 1 day rest.

But...when he had time to think about Morozov and Morozov was in his nightmares on 2+ days rest: Brodeur won just twice in nine tries...

Only because I think I'm seeing the best right glove goalie prospect I have seen in a while...here's some overnight trivia...

Seven right glove goalies have played 500+ NHL games...name them.

Some helpful hints...all have played and had their peak since the big expansion in 1967. In fact, only two wouldn't have faced Mario Lemieux multiple times...if they weren't on the same team, that is ;)
