Yeah, that's a good defense. Lauzon played on the top pair on Boston at times last year. He'll be an every day player I assume.

But yeah, that's not too bad...I wonder if they can make a play for Eichel or other big ticket guys...I would have thought that would be more obvious in the picks...like, "pick any 3 exposed players, plus the #2 pick for Eichel" or Eichel and Skinner for any three exposed players or whatever it is...but there isn't a lot of extra asset value here I don't think...

Like I said, I'll reserve judgment until I see the whole picture...but I don't like this team overall so far...

That's any post-expansion draft trades. Any trade for Seattle to take one player over another would've been done prior to the draft.

Maybe teams realized it was stupid to give extra people away. Look at who some of the Vegas extras were.

We’re obviously still in early days here, but Francis has certainly racked up some fireable offenses for a franchise that hasn’t even hit the ice yet. Hakstol as head coach, a complete joke of an expansion draft that saw him build an AHL competitor while unable to build draft capital after failing to pivot direction after his “first and third” extortion demands were balked at by opposing GMs (if they didn’t want to pay you to not take their good players then why didn’t you just take their good players?), and now the details of that Oleksiak contract… woof.
