I get that. You're taking your sociopolitical beliefs and bias and using them to chalk this up as a win for your team. And hey, maybe you're right. Maybe this was gonna happen. And truly, I think the game had already started evolving away from these guys...but Babcock and Peters both still have jobs right now if Fleury doesn't rob Petan...

This seemed like gotta get his pound of flesh from Darren. Which was it? Babcock the best Xs and Os guy ever or the guy who misused players and cost them Stan Lee’s Cup.

Yeah, for sure, hockey guys get after it all the time...hell, Erik Johnson missed an entire season because he was hammered while being stupid...didn't get fired...so this must have been something really not good...

They said it wasn't criminal though...so...who knows...

Also, seems like the wheels were in motion on this for a bit...the NHL HQ guys were involved, Lax is already up with the big club...I don't know...

Since Russia is banned from competing in the Olympics and Geno is a dual citizen now maybe he'll play for the USA. Putin would love that.
