They have the best attendance in the A, so prices go up when demand is up.
Buy cheap tickets and move down after the first

The real shame is somebody actually bought a Fanatics jersey.

Sports Illustrated is unimpeachable, imo

Oh, I now see the significance of the screen shot. That replica patch on the waist isn't supposed to be there.

I've basically seen the same exact story with the same exact sources. They all only cite the dude's Facebook page and that image above. It would seem pretty damn easy to confirm the story with Radulov or the equipment manager. Why hasn't anyone done that?

A person associated with the Stars organization confirmed to USA TODAY Sports the jersey malfunction and that Radulov wore the fan's replica jersey for two periods but requested anonymity because it was an awkward situation.

An awkward situation? Embarrassed because they didn't have extra jerseys? I'm not sure.An awkward situation? Damn, LBL beat me to it. I was so surprised that video evidence wasn't enough for nocera that it took me a moment to recover and locate the USA Today quote.
The game was in Tulsa, they're lucky they had any fans there to pull jerseys from.

Why not just send someone to the team store that every arena has to milk the money from the fans and get a jersey off of the rack?

Because they're in Tulsa?
This was a perfect storm situation. Just enjoy it!

It just seemed odd to me. It was the same screenshot in every article with the same facebook post. I didn't do any research personally because that should be the job of the journalists who reported on it. Thankfully, USA Today actually did reach out to the team while everybody else just parroted the original article.Damn, LBL beat me to it. And because the game was in Tulsa, it doesn't surprise me at all that they didn't have another Radu jersey on hand. I doubt they travel with two jerseys for each player. It's a little surprising they don't travel with a few generic backup jerseys, though.

The SI article has a video of him wearing it. When you said you read a bunch of articles about it I assumed you read the SI one. *shrug*

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ When the story broke, there were a few articles including one on Sportslogos.net that I read and all cited the same image/facebook post. I did not view the video in the SI article so that's on me. Of course going back and looking at the r/hockey thread, they've found an overhead photo that again confirms it's a true story:
The lack of the Adidas logo above the nameplate means it's a Fanatics jersey.
