And was wondering, mikey, if you knew off hand who the youngest team to win the Cup was? My guess would probably be, amusingly, the Oilers in '84 but I have zero numbers to back that up, just a gut feeling.

Jack Campbell - the last time a goalie went in the top-15 of the draft was Jack, at 11th overall in 2010 - has signed a two-year extension with Los Angeles. Moreover, the 2019-20 season is a one-way deal for him. Kings must see something they like or this is one hell of a way to offer waiver protection next season. Campbell has played more ECHL games (27) than NHL games (2), to date.

The only reason I even saw the video was because predictably Wyshynski threw another hissy fit. "ZOMG, today's climate! Tone deaf!11!"

It was stupidly unfunny and thats about where it ends. But people like him constantly need a cause to puff their chest out and stick up for.

No he's always been like that. He'll fit right in at ESPN, except for being a hockey writer.

When he first moved to ESPN him and Madden got into it on twitter big time. Mark basically called him out on being a self righteous asshat, and that ESPN laid off all their legit hockey people and went bargain basement shopping for him.

i think if wysh didn't have to be a hot take generator, then he'd be a decent person to talk NHL with. his instincts aren't bad, imo. but he has to do the standard internet thing where he spews nonsense to get traffic.
