Hasn't Gibson also had injury issues over the last two seasons?

Whole life. After almost every save, in fact...

I've always wondered that. Is that a Gibson thing, or is that every team he's been on has him play literally as many games as he can, and puts almost zero defense in front of him? I don't even want to entertain another injury prone goalie though, so I'd almost be out, and would rather they go after a cheaper goalie.

Evidently, the Gibson's backups have better stats than he does with the same defenses in front of him. Not sure Gibby is the way to go here.

Right the only way I take a flyer really at this point is if they eat like 50% of his salary. Even then, eh.

This is giving me slight "Jeff Carter in 2012" deja vu.
Apparently Philly is working on a Carter Hart deal too

If I'm Dubas, I'm listening to the price tag on Hart. With a change of scenery, he's a winner, imo.

If I’m Dubas, I’m wondering if Matt Murray is healthy.
Hockey Randomness
Matt Murray is not healthy. That's an easy answer.

I’m wondering how broken Petersen is.
I’d rather have Hart over him, personally

If Petersen isn't at 90% or better (forget about broken), his contract is an eyesore...I liked him, but I wonder if he can recover...

Beginning to slowly wonder how much longer the Jarmo Kekalainen leash is in Columbus.
He's definitely had a longer shelf-life than most GMs whose teams have produced similar results, but you can't ignore how he took a team from perennial bottom-feeder with 1 playoff appearance and no wins to not only making the playoffs, but winning a couple games/series (2019 vs the Lightning being the pinnacle). Feels like he's been riding on that goodwill for years, even through the down times.
Will be interesting to see what happens if they miss out on the playoffs badly again this coming season.

Wow, this is a hell of a trade...just getting off a plane and trying to piece it together...
I think Provorov is salvageable as a strong top 4 D. He was very bad last year...

Just the size of it. Very complex.

Oh, yes, Indeed.
I see Provorov is a little younger than I thought. Well, 2 or 3 years in fact.

Wait, so LA traded walker, a 2nd, and retained 30% of provorov's contract just to move Cal Peterson's contract?
Provorov is good. He had a bad year. Trading a 1st and 2nd for 70% of his contract is a good trade for columbus..
Philly did great. About time they do this

Draisaitl is still the leader in playoff goals at 13, more than one series after he was eliminated. 1 ahead of VGK leader Marchessault and 3 ahead on Panthers leader Tkachuk.
