when simmonds came in to give wilson some harmless business.
Harmless? The Wayne Train's second punch nearly knocked Tommy boy the f out of the rink.

i was referring to the little jabbing going on before the fight.

but the fight was also harmless, i suppose.

Sick drag and snipe by Lewis on the SH to give the Kings a 3-2 lead late 2nd.

What a move--didn't think he had a prayer of getting a shot off, much less a snipe like that.

Good lord, tied up 3-3 already. Four Kings within three feet of Quick and somehow Hertl gets a clean shot 5-hole

Wow...beautiful feed to Clifford for a one-timer into a wide open net, and he just missed terribly. See if they can tie it up with the goalie pulled and 1:24 left.

How in the world did a puck not get into the net in the last two minutes...? That's unreal.

Hell of a sequence in that last minute by the Kings trying to get the equalizer and they kept missing their spots. Sharks continue their road brilliance.

Playoff Roberto Luongo has been engaged.
This. He was awful last night.
schenn injured himself with a borderline hit at the end of that game. clement thinks it's because alzner's stick tapped his body armor on his way down. in other news, clement is a gigantic ninny. complains about every physical incident. he must not have forgotten the 1,000,000 horrific things that happened every shift in the era he played in.

however, the flyers did get jobbed after wilson tried to murder macdonald. refs overthought it and evened up the call when simmonds came in to give wilson some harmless business. and to tie it all back, clemment wanted an instigator on wilson for some reason after simmonds came in out of nowhere.
As a broadcaster, Clement is relatively good doing other games, but when he does Flyers games, he is completely intolerable. For a guy who played a tough game back in the day, he whines like a petulant child.

The Flyers did get robbed on that even-up call with Wilson, but Simmonds should have just taken the high road and stayed on the ice for a power play. Jackson was praising him, but in game 1 of the playoffs against a favorite, already down, they needed him on the ice more than they did scuffling with Wilson.

Yeah, they owed the Flyers one there. And they were given a number of opportunities in the next 90 seconds to make good on it too...including, but not limited to, the samurai sword looking chop to the rib cage by Andre Burakovsky on Shayne Gostisbehere...

Couturier's gonna miss the rest of the first round (most likely).

I would say that means he's going to miss the rest of the Flyers' season but this is the Caps we're talking about.

If there was no score overlay, I would guess that the Lightning lead about a thousand to zero...

It doesn't matter. If they beat the Lightning without Stamkos and Stralman it wouldn't count anyhow...

But yeah, the Wings, Flyers and Islanders are almost a waste in these playoffs...
