Oh, Blues you aren't gonna waste that 5-on-3, are you?

Yep, you sure did. Hope you don't regret it later.

Yesssssss. 4-0 Blues. Keep it up! Don't let them back in it. Sharks are terrifying. What a team.

Hope this holds. Let everyone panic about the Sharks for awhile.

Sharks now starting to rough it up and try to goad Blues into penalties.

James Reimer now in for Sharks.

Please get rid of the challenges for offside.
I disagree. if anything we've learned how many offsides the linesmen miss. in the NHL that half a step can make the difference between goal and no-goal.

Linesmen probably miss less than 1% of line calls in a game. The ones that are being challenged are because a guy lost a fingernail in the zone and then 30 seconds of possession time is had and then a goal goes in...the "offside" had nothing to do with the play, no one on the rink even usually suspects it's offside...

No challenge. Have the call center thing ring down if they feel it's offside on a rush chance...but other than that, it's already been abused...plus, it sets a dangerous precedent about far back we go to review trivial things that I would like to not see enforced...

Exactly, mikey. I hate that crap. It's the stuff that slows down NFL games and it's now part of NHL culture. Reverse it.

This is what it's intended for:

Correctamundo. If you need a forensics team (NFL or NHL) to overturn a call, you are doing it wrong.

1. Play happens.
2. "Hey, that play sucked!"
3. Watch play again.
:::::: Something is obviously wrong - fix it.
or
:::::: Something is not obviously wrong, take 30 seconds and then move on with your life...

If you're reviewing offside in a hockey game for 7 minutes, then it's onside...

They need to return to the free-out rule when the puck is shot in offside, or if they don't, whistle it dead on the intentional dump, instead of the tag-up. And give us back the high zone faceoff.

Me, too, crusher. I keep thinking how surprising the playoffs are. Look how surprised we are to be on the brink. Maybe we'll be surprised and see our stars take over for 2 games.

Intermission report made a thing about "Malkin channeling Messier." Right.

What's worse. Losing on home ice in OT in a game that was all but won, or having the late 2nd period lead at home and blowing it the way St Louis did?

Blowing a lead is worse the way its worded. OT doesn't suggest you had a lead to protect. Though losing in OT is like getting a nipple ripped off...
