Rexall Place Farewell

NHL Network showed a snippet of the farewell ceremony. What a great send off! Would love to have seen the whole event. Youtube, maybe?

With memories of the Oilers and the players that came through those great years, I would have thought the NHL would have celebrated more than 10 minutes on their network. For that, I give Bettman a -9 and a commissioner league misconduct.

They had a whole show about it, and had Gretzky on all evening promoting some fantasy camp and they talked about it through that as well. Maybe you missed the main part? I didn't sit and watch it straight through but had it on in the background while making dinner and between DVR shows.

that Gretzky Fantasy Camp just took place in Vegas a couple of weeks ago. it's something crazy like $15k to attend. "proceeds" go to the Gretzky Foundation so it's likely tax deductible but still.......
