I get it but I assume the thought is they want to jam all the games they can on the weekend and any Game 7 is more compelling than any Game 1, so you put the Game 7 in prime time.

I dont think Boston can touch Florida. They just dont have enough offensive talent... I mean we just watched them play game 7 with Coyle, zacha, and geekie in their top 6, the same top 6 that typically features Danton heinen...

Florida is going to make it a lot harder on Swayman than perimeter Toronto does.

That outcome is less than ideal. I think BOS has a decent chance of taking down FLA, who I picked to win the Cup.

There’s also the scheduling puzzle of the Knicks having homecourt advantage in their series so MSG is gonna be busy for the first time in May for a while.

haha tbh I had complained about this years ago. I don’t think this is the first time the NHL has done it but the NBA has definitely been doing it for a while

There were some strict rules about what you could and couldn't originally...now, it's basically: intentionally make a bad call, so that we can review it...and not abide by the rules (like liberating Necas for tripping to put ADA in the box for roughing...) and try to figure it out...

If that's where we're at, then let's just do one ref on the ice and one watching from above and stop the reviews...

And definitely agree with mikey regarding reviews. Can't remember if it was game 5 or 6 of vegas vs dallas, but there were 2 or 3 annoying penalty reviews.

If you don't see it, don't call it. If you want to get it right, then just have a sky judge/ref.
