This Saturday at 9 am, the Checkers will have a red/white scrimmage game. The Calder Cup will be in the building and be available for pictures.

Gonna be out of town this weekend, otherwise I’d probably go.

good for her! after the 2002 Olympics I got to participate in a hockey clinic run by her and a couple other members of the USWNT. she was very nice and down to earth.
funny story: when Ray Ferraro was finishing up his Thrashers career a young friend of mine would play youth pickup with his sons. they started talking about Cammi and my friend said to them, "Cammi Granato's not your MOM!". turns out she kind of was/is.

I can see it. I had chronic migraines when I was a kid, and they were complete debilitating. I had to lock myself in an ice cold room with not a single flicker of light, and just try and wait out the pain. I still get them, though they're much, much more rare.

That's a prospect that was already in trouble, this isn't likely to help...if they can get him back on the ice, I think they try to move him...in fact, I'm not sure they haven't already tried...

I wasn't sure what exactly a migraine disorder is. Isn't a migraine itself a disorder?

I'm assuming it means that he gets them extremely frequently, which is normally referred to as "chronic" migraines.
