What. It’s no different from 257,000 other completely innocuous posts across the board.

Calm down and have a pasta side.

Jim Johannson, the general manager of USA Hockey who helped put together an American Olympic team without NHL players, has died at the age of 53.

USA Hockey released a statement saying that Johannson died in his sleep early Sunday morning at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Being placed on waivers doesn't mean that you disappear. He didn't clear waivers yet (takes 24 hours, he'll clear at noon tomorrow), so he can't be sent down...so he's still on the active roster.

IIRC the Pens did that with Andrew Ebbett or one of those guys one year. Put them on waivers, they cleared, but they stayed with the club and got put back on waivers when people got healthy

Clearing waivers only lasts a few weeks or a month or something like that and then you need to clear again.

The lesser of 10 games or 30 days on the active roster. Good point, Jim.

Brandon Dubinsky is being sent home to Columbus to deal with personal issues/medical diagnosis that could compromise his career.

I don't have access to the Athletic, so I could only read the first paragraph or three: https://theathletic.com/220381/2018/01/ ... al-issues/

I think DG read too much there. There aren't medical issues, as far as the article is concerned. It says nothing about a diagnosis

My guess is drugs. He was benched and stripped of the A earlier this uear. You don't strip the A if it's a medical issue.

The first sentence of the paywalled part of the article says his agent said he was being sent home for a "medical diagnosis." Now, that's his agent, so who the hell knows what's going on there.

I only see something about how police weren't involved.

Not that I doubt you. I just don't see enough of the article on mobile.

After scratching my head a few times, I realized that you literally meant Dadholes, and weren't being filtered. I had never seen this before, but the clip I'm watching right now is great.
