Not surprisingly, now that a team needs to get a book on Hammond, they do. Subban nearly kills him with that dart from distance. Tough to beat a goalie clean from way out there.

Ouch. Isles' D looked like a group of chickens with their heads off.

These games make me sad. You get the feeling that either team could score at any time and they often do, then you watch the Pens and it's such a grind.

James Neal looked good in OT the last game, I didn't really notice him before that.

And 2:47 in, it's 1-0 Preds.

Darling warming up in the bullpen already.

Robble Robble....big time weak sauce allowed by the Hamburglar and now it's 2-0 Habs in the series.

Geeeeeez....this Josi guy has some sick stick skills. Terrific screen too. Nothing Crawford could do about that one.

Enjoy the extensive coverage on the front page of ESPN.com while it lasts. As soon as the NBA playoffs starts, the NHL will be an afterthought.

No? Which way are you leaning so heavily to? I threw up my hands and said Calgary in 7 because I'm rooting for Johnny, as we shared a home rink once upon a time...I think this one is going the distance. Both teams are weak in net. The Flames play fast and up tempo. The Canucks play a cycling style of game. It's an interesting matchup between two teams that I didn't think would be here...

What do you got?

I have (had?) the Nucks in 6. Like you, I love the Flames pace of play. Truth be told, I picked the Nucks prior to the series (and in my pool). I was surprised when Calgary took Game 1 for sure.

Truth be told, the more I think about it, this could go seven easily. I do agree with you on the goaltending situation, although I give a slight nod to Lack. I probably overstated my position, I still like the Canucks, but it will be a close series as you mentioned.

And part of it too, I feel, is that the series has a long way to go because I'm not sure there's a lot of closers on these teams...it's 4-3 Calgary with nine minutes left in game 6...now what? Who takes it over and says, "ok that's it...series over"...? I don't think anyone, I think Vancouver rises up and a depth guy ties it and they extend the series...that's how I'm picturing it going down...the moveable object vs the stoppable force...
