There's a tone to the wording there that implies he's blaming Nichushkin for having issues, rather than accepting that Nuke is an addict and recovery from addiction is not linear.

You'd think someone who has been through the ringer before (albeit financially and not addiction-related) would be a little more understanding.

This is not to say Nuke is absolved, because given how they swept the whole drugged and naked woman in his hotel room thing last year under the rug, the lack of information here is concerning.

some people can only be understanding so many times. Avs played like ass last night. I'm sure there's a lot of hurt and feelings of betrayal in that locker room right now.
we're not talking a first offense here. to be in stage 3, this is Nishukin's 3rd violation/incident.
it may not be the kindest reaction but JMFJ has a right to feel betrayed and pissed off if he feels that Nishukin put himself before the team.

It's OK to be mad at someone for being an addict. Jack Johnson is busting his ass for his team... it's a slap in the face when others are making decisions that are detrimental.

You can simultaneously hope he gets better while also feeling like he **** you over, because he did. As many addicts do.

Dude, just take the L on your original take. The thought that trusting your parents with millions of dollars as a teenager as opposed to violating a substance policy as a near 30-year-old is not the same. Addiction is an issue but at a certain point there is accountability.
