When I want to be killed I do an Olivia HITT/Hills ride.
Olivia is a cyborg in a 5' package. She feels nothing and just works you in those rides lol.

I took almost all of her beginner classes. I mean it has little to do with her looks, she's just the only instructor I had heard of before hand. We have similar music tastes so I guess that makes it work. Zach Bryan on a Pelton class? Yes please.
I don't think I've ever taken a country class but there is a ton of them on the platform from a bunch of instructors so you should never get bored.

I've been sorting her 20 minute classes in date order and taking them. I like a kinds of music, not just country. I have a 2010s class on the docket for tomorrow.

There is a way to search for individual artists. I think on the website.

Kendall metal rides are a relax time. Maybe a 6.9 at most.
I see what you did there lol.

lol got my replacement bike today, after 1+ month. Go to pedal, it clicks just like the last one. So far, customer service has been good, but the replacement and support to this, leaves a lot to be desired.
That sucks. *knock on wood* I'm almost 700 rides in and no issues. I have about a week to decide if I want to buy the extra warranty and I think I am going to do it to be safe.
So 10000% user error. My shoes came loose and that was what was causing issues. whoops. Got a replacement bike though I guess for Peloton not recognizing it lol

Anyone use Verizon Play+? Peloton app can be had for $12 a month through that service if you have a mobile account. I'd like to switch over, but nervous about losing all my history, etc. if I cancel my membership?

Isn't that the normal price for the peloton app?

The digital version is $12 a month. It's for people that don't have a Peloton bike. I think the full version is called 'All Access' or whatever and it's $47ish.

I was curious and looked. The Verizon thing makes you cancel and resubscribe unless it's Netflix or HBO Max.

Peloton says:

Canceling Your All-Access Membership
If you will not be able to use your Membership for more than 3 months due to travel, injury, illness, relocation, pregnancy, or any other reason, you can cancel your Membership. You will be able to reactivate at any time from your Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, or Guide.

To me that says your stuff will still be there. They let you pause your membership for up to 3 months (I did this when I was injured last year) so that's what they're referencing there.

Did dead benches for the first time in my life today (it's the same concept as a bench press, but you have pins to stop the weight at the chest line, so every rep you do is from a "dead weight" position)...boy, howdy, way harder than I thought they were going to be...

Ah, OK. That's what I use, the digital version

Nice!

Still looking for my Century shirt.
you'd get one quicker by buying your own from eBay.....
Decided to finally email them about this. The Century Club free t-shirt program ended last week.

Now they have a milestone collection you can buy from. Yay.

I called to try to extend the warranty on my bike to be safe. So I call before the date on the email and they say well your bike actually got delivered a month earlier (it did), so the warranty actually already expired. I'm like well why didn't the email say the February date then?

They weren't sure, and I didn't really feel like pushing it. I can tell the rep had probably already been yelled at today. She was expecting a fight, and thanked me when I was understanding. I mean technically it was on me to know that since my bike got delivered a month early it was a year from that date and not the date I got in my email. I haven't had any issues and was just doing it more of a piece of mind thing. I'm sure now something will happen though and it will cost me Out of pocket to get fixed...cause that's just how it goes haha.

On a side note.. I did the most recent Emma rock ride this morning and it kicked my ass.

Both my wife and I got our century shirts pretty quickly after doing the order (back when they were free). Hers was a much higher quality than mine though. Mine shrunk from an XL to a L and I can't even wear it at this point.

There is a reddit thread about that. Some folks got cotton shirts that shrunk and became halter tops. Others got nice wicking performance tees.

I've decided I'm going down to two full meals and one snack during the week. Regular breakfast and lunch, snack around 4 and maybe a small low calorie salad (ie no cheese, dressing etc.) at night. I'm thinking that at my age and sedentary lifestyle, I don't need three full meals.

I eat at 10am, 2pm, and 6pm. But the breakfast is pretty small, about 300 calories. And the lunch is maybe 400. That leaves 1000 for dinner and about 300 for snacks throughout the day if I need them.

I used to really believe in the 'small meals all day thing' but one of my Noom classes taught that is actually a myth. I thought it would keep the metabolism stoked and burning but apparently it does the opposite.

When I was in Iraq I would eat 6 meals a day, 200 calories each. I would lose 3-5lbs a week but I was also in my 20s and just getting into endurance running.

I still always say Calories are king. Take in less than you burn off and you are golden. How you get there meal wise is totally person dependent. Small meals, big meals, 6 meals, 3 meals etc. Everyone has to find what works for them.
