I thought you were asking for user name ideas for yourself, lol.

I don't have a Peloton.

For whatever reason my phelbotomy really kicked my ass today. 1 1/2 bags of blood plus some extra tubes for labwork. Each arm is wrapped like I was shot by a gun.

At least this new doctor has agreed to go back to just doing this every 3 months unless something drastic changes. No in between appointments which is nice. If I can get this to 4x a year and stay there....I think I can deal.

Did a beginner ride with Ben. Legs feel like jello.

Having never done spin before, that was challenging.

there are 2 great programs that ease you into riding: You Can Ride and and the older Mastering the Basics Cycling.
I did the latter and found it really helpful when I was first starting out.

Counterpoint to this is that all I've done is metal rides with Kendall and it usually takes me multiple days to recover and then ride again. Don't be like me.
Unless you want to.

The programs @shoeshine boy recommended are good. My wife did one and it helped her alot when she started.

I also recommend cool down rides and stretching after most rides...and especially harder ones. Your legs will thank you.

I was a psycho and my first ride was a Kendall metal ride. I don't suggest it but I'm a glutton for punishment.

Will do them I think.

So I went to peloton in the mall and the guy showed me how to do it. I did a 20 minute beginner ride, and then a 5 minute cool down ride. Did well I think.

Super excited to try it again tomorrow. Will probably figure out a program so I don't burn out on it, etc.

Rest days also very important even if it's an active recovery day. I know it's weird coming from me who has a blue dot every day but some of those days are recovery rides or a meditation etc.

Lol $3200 for Peloton Row.
AND they are saying that Row classes will only be available for Row owners. I'm guessing that will change when Row classes have less than 100 people in them and instructors are complaining that no one is taking their classes.

As a guy that likes stationary biking and running on a treadmill, rowing is **** dumb as ****. It takes me about 30 seconds to get bored to tears.

I don't know much about the cost of a rower other than that seems alot. Doing a quick bit of research it seems the current top of the line rower is like half of what Peloton is asking if not less.

I've watched the video. it's pretty cool but not $3200 cool. I'd be curious how much the swivel screen adds to the cost......
people on Peloton Facebook groups flipping out because Peloton is saying Row classes will only be available to owners "at launch".
give it a month or two.

The videos look bad. Just an instructor yelling at you about rowing. They really should have gotten some scenery vids in there.
