Ran a 5k in about 24 minutes on the treadmill this morning. Not the same as running it outside but not to shabby.

Thinking of doing the turkey trot on Thanksgiving and then maybe the Christmas story 5k in Cleveland in December.

I hate running on a treadmill so I'm impressed

I don't like it either but gotta do it sometimes. As long as I have music on I'm good usually.

I did that one last year. Ended up parking in town and Ubering back to my car. It was complete chaos trying to find a ride within a half hour of finishing. You can't leave sooner because you still have the 10k and walkers on the course, and if you leave later you're waiting in line with everyone else. The shuttle bus lines were literally two blocks long, so I definitely don't recommend that unless you like standing around in the cold. The Uber wasn't bad for the price. I want to say it was no more than $10.

My recommendation would be to do touristy stuff: check out the house, the gift shop, go grab a beer or a hot chocolate. Let the crowds die down and then grab your ride back. The Rowley Inn across the way from the house has some good food, but I imagine will be overflowing around race time.

A guy at our company is putting together an indoor soccer team. Heck yeah! I'll play.

Then I check the roster, and go chat with all the people that are playing... none of them have played soccer since they were 12. We're going to be that team that gets curb stomped every single game. Let the fun begin.

Indoor soccer arenas usually have a bar attached. My advice is to get there early and warm up by drinking enough that you won't care how badly you get blown out.

Wat? I've yet to be to one that has this.

I don't give a sh*t about being blown out... I'm just worried by the end of the schedule, people are going to get sick of it and stop showing up.

The decline in smoking has had quite an impact.

Um, I mean, you can thank the natural mommies for this.

First indoor game done. Three goals, two bloody knees, one loss. But I had fun and ran around which is all that matters.

I am on Day 3 or 4 of this annoying cold. The weird thing is, the most brutal symptom if this cold, by far, is the nonstop pounding headache that I've had since Saturday. I have a very minor, occasional cough, and some mucus, but by and large it's the headache that is sucking the life out of me.

We were up 4-2 with 4 minutes left... lost 5-4. Thought we had our first win, and it just slipped away.

Anyways, got home and changed into sweats. Look down at the toe next to my big toe and the nail is all black and blue. Must have gotten stomped on or something, but it's odd... it doesn't hurt. I don't remember doing it or hurting it. It's just there. Hopefully my nail doesn't fall off.

Well, I am trying to do the P90x 3 month schedule again. It is just effing brutal that the very first day is Chest and Back. My arms are shaking and feel like Jello at the moment  I couldn't even start the second-to-last set (diamond pushups), literally just collapsed to the ground. Welp, nowhere to go but up.
