He might have had some kind of accent, British/Irish/South African, one of those.
There are so many routes one could have taken with a "pop punk" playlist, at least it wasn't machine gun kelly, just that post-blink 182 early 2000's era stuff that I never listened to, so watching a dude get whisked away in an all american rejects song was too much.

You can look at the track list before starting the ride. Might save you some heartache next time.

I just assumed the music would be more background, again, just didn't expect the instructor to be sent into reverie by a Sum-41 chorus. I fear I am too cynical to ignore how the instructors interact with their playlists.

Some instructors get really into their playlists, some others are more chill. If it was Brad..he is def more on the more boisterous side of things.I just assumed the music would be more background, again, just didn't expect the instructor to be sent into reverie by a Sum-41 chorus. Disappointed that MyFitnessPal is disabling the scan function for unpaid users. They're offering half off the first year but that's still $5/mo or $25/yr. Not worth it for me since the only thing I would need is the scanner. I only track calories and not the rest of the metrics so most of it is wasted on me.

I deleted it immediately and went back to LoseIt for $9.99 for the year. Much better than what MFP has become the last six months.Disappointed that MyFitnessPal is disabling the scan function for unpaid users. That'll definitely be the end of my MFP use.

Filling the page with ads and then deleting functionality is not great, yeah. I've been using this same platform for probably 8 years so I'm not going to dump it yet, but if it gets hobbled further I'm going to have to jump.
Back in the day (2002ish) I used to do it in a notebook, and then on a spreadsheet. When I worked at RadioShack they sold a purpose-built device with a database in it. I can adapt.

Peloton owners....I'm researching and I have questions.
1) Do I need the most expensive bike, or is the $1500 one OK if I'm only interested in the biking portion of the classes?
2) Is the monthly app payment for family, or do both my wife and I need to pay monthly?
3) Do non-peloton shoes work? I have size 15, and that's obviously a problem otherwise...

No; yes.
Family.
Yes, you need delta-style cleats though.

Thanks!
I’ve been doing the treadmill and it’s boring me. I was going to buy a bike, but given the weather here and same price. A peloton may make more sense.

anyone buy their bike used?
/edit nevermind. It's like a minimal discount for headache at set-up and warranty.

@Morkle ...I'd buy new IMO. Not sure what kind of deals they are running right now, but we got ours at 0% interest for 2 years or whatever it was, which along with the discount made it a no brainer.
Also I can give you a referral code to get 100$ off if no one else offered already. Not sure it's off the bike or the accessories but figured I would offer.

I threw a baseball with my son for 25 minutes yesterday (Fitbit tracked it as "Sport") and now my right arm and lats are done. Middle age man. It's not for the meek.

Awesome thanks. Hold the code for now - but I'll come back if I'm interested in going after one.@Morkle ...I'd buy new IMO. Not sure what kind of deals they are running right now, but we got ours at 0% interest for 2 years or whatever it was, which along with the discount made it a no brainer.

you can always change the pedals out to ones that are compatible with SPD cleats if you can't find any with Look Delta cleats.Peloton owners....I'm researching and I have questions.

My delta cleats were $10 on Amazon. Cheaper than new pedals.

No? Is there one on amazon?Morkle, are you talking about the one that is now on Amazon?
I planned to go to the showroom at Ross Park to ask question and stuff. I was just seeing a bunch on facebook marketplace for sale, if you were talking Used.

Peloton just started selling on Amazon. I *think* they might be old Gen1 bikes though, not sure. If you were looking at those I was going to help you by digging up the Gen discussion we had, but if you're looking at a current bike from Peloton directly then it won't be necessary.

Ah got it - current bike. I was thinking just the regular Peloton - and planned to schedule an appointment to go talk to someone about it.Peloton just started selling on Amazon. Random general questions like above. See if I can sit on one, etc.
I'm down 10 pounds in the last 3 weeks, but the treadmill has gotten stale. With winter coming, I'm looking to change it up.

I don't necessarily think these are Gen 1 but it does look like they ship it to you in a box and you have to assemble it yourself rather than delivery and setup.Peloton just started selling on Amazon. I know Peloton was recently selling refurbs for $1k but those come and go so might not be available right now.
I'd suggest new directly from Peloton since it's the same cost as Amazon.
