clipping finger nails should not be practiced in a an office setting
Who does that?
*raises hand* But I also have my own office.

Yes, I close my office door if I need to clip my nails. Mainly when I forget to do it at home and I have a backup pair in my desk.

I've done it for years. About ready to take the next step and start doing my toenails there too...

Yeah honestly this should be widely accepted as a practice within any office environment.

I only clip hangnails/the bits that poke out from the side. And I have to borrow clippers to do it. Otherwise, it's a home thing imo

I really can't imagine why people feel the need to do personal grooming at work. I don't even like using the bathroom at work, and y'all are cutting finger and toenails. Crazy.

Borrow clippers? What?
Yeah that is crossing the line. I won't even share clippers with my wife

It's wonderful. Nothing like putting back on dress socks after a good cut.

Eh. I know my coworker doesn't use them, she just has them, and when you travel and play in ultimate frisbee tournaments (short fingernails are crucial for it), sometimes you need to suck it up and borrow in case of emergency.

Also, to reiterate, I am only using them to cut off the little stabby crap that come up on the side of the nail.

 If she has them, she uses them. If short nails are crucial to something you do regularly, why the hell don't you have your own clippers?
Also, to reiterate, I am only using them to cut off the little stabby crap that come up on the side of the nail.
That's worse than just taking off the tips. Nail fungus resides in the nail bed...

Eats? nah.

More like Macgyvers a piece of stuck food out of my teeth when I didn't have floss or a toothpick.

Just a second here, professor. You feel there's a time where putting a sock *back* on, as in, one you just had on...took off...and then re-applied - feels good?

Rather than continue to foe people on this message board, I'll just start a group text with dodint and meow...
