Where do yall look for job postings?

I use indeed and linked in. And either there aren't many jobs out there right now or the good companies don't use them

Those two, as well as monster. Most of the time there's a ton of overlap, but every so often you find unique ones that are only posted on 1 of the 3.

Go to the website of the company you want to work for...look for their job listings...

Indeed and LinkedIn are probably the two best resources. Indeed especially because they offer free job postings to companies so virtually everyone will put their openings there. As Mikey said, if you do research on great companies to work for, it's a good strategy to visit their career sites directly to check for openings too.

Apparently there was no pushback (why would there be when he GETS A SEVERANCE?) He was only concerned about his work visa.

Just got a meeting invite for a third secure printing vendor. This wouldn't be news if we didn't already have two different ones being used in Prod right now, but I guess management doesn't care that having this many solutions in play is going to do nothing but cause issues with both management and support.

Someone wants free pens tickets from said vendor.

If I worked on the good side of the state I'd consider the possibility, because there's not a snowball's chance in hell somebody's trying to get Flyers tickets.

Luckily we have funding, but whomever scheduled it should use common sense.

The cleanout never happened. The people responsible tore down the sign. And everyone rejoiced and I ate my lunch.

I love when I put in an eRequest for IT Services for access to a database and I submit it to the wrong group and they tell me it's wrong cloaked from a do-not-reply inbox., but don't tell me what the right one is. So I resubmitted it again to the same wrong IT group. I can play games too, Mr. DBA.
