The three bananas are gone. Today we have a tangelo and a large bag of mini Snickers.

On the actual work front, I've been told that everyone except for Stan & Stanette are on standby for mandatory OT/weekend work because of impending deadline. They're being excluded because of lack of value-added.

I may make the news yet.

TIL there is something called a tangelo.

If telling two employees not to come in for mandatory OT isn't a red flag to management, nothing will be.

As a mid-level manager, if one of my direct reports told one of their direct reports to sit out a mandatory overtime scenario, I would ask to have their termination case to me by EOB.

"Excluded for lack of value added"...

Then why not just get rid of them, if they don't add anything?

I'm convinced Stan is the smartest person in the office and his figure out a way to get paid for nothing.

They both excel at acting like a turnip and getting paid for it.

My boss is getting a table of 10 for some big fancy fundraiser event later this month. Costs something like $2500 for the table. I got an invite to attend and he's covering the bill. F*ck yeah, I'm going. A $250 a plate dinner has to be good stuff. And if not, f*ck it, I'll drink.

$250 plate fundraiser food is the same as $50 a plate regular food.

Drink up!
