If someone in your cube farm has the same personal cell phone ring as you, that's grounds for a duel, right?

If someone in your cube farm has their **** ringer on at all that's grounds for a public execution.

I'd be shocked if a phone other than mine played the Invincibility power up song from Sonic and Knuckles.

For most calls, mine has been the Dexter theme song for as long as I can remember. My wife has a different ringtone so that I know I don't have to answer...

I do the basic old man ring that trills like a landline phone.

Seems like by the time I get around to setting custom ringtones the phone dies. Last time I bothered I had music and sound effects from NES-era RC Pro Am. Was **** fantastic.

This guy. I also have my own office in the back of the building, and listen to music at near unreasonable volumes.

THANK YOU

The person across from me has like 8 different ringtones for 8 different people (non-work related) who call her 8 times a day. I want to punt her goddamn phone out the window.

My phone went off in a meeting a few months ago and my ringtone was the Mos Eisley Cantina song. I have since switched it to the boss fight music from Sonic 1 because somehow I thought that'd be less embarrassing.

Ugh...the last time I had my ringer on (at least three years ago now I think) it was this... :face:

My phone rings about four times a month, if that. So less than once a week. Just not worth seeking out a cool custom ring tone. I should switch it back to theme song from The IT Crowd; though. That was tits.

<<shudder>> That janky ass phone....

It's not on, but he is ALWAYS dicking around on his phone. Always hunched over it, like there's some super secret thing he's doing. Which he probably is. Because there's a 50/50 chance he's a spy.

My own ringtone is the Sons of Anarchy theme, but I don't think I've had my ringer on ever in at least 5 years.

I'd like to pose a question to any manager level and up folks--

What's your <personal> policy on lunching with subordinates?

Yea, I don't see a problem at all. Meeting lunch, friend lunch, who cares.

This made me laugh as it reminded me of this, which is so pervasive it's fodder for a comic strip:

So you have, say, 10 people that report to you - but you only ask 1 or 2 of those people to go to lunch with you. You don't worry about the perception to the other 8 or 9 folks? (I want to be clear, I'm legitimately asking - not asking to be argumentative.)
