Now 60sixx is releasing a transcript of the alleged phone sex call piece by piece...? Outstanding effort here.

Do the American thing. Bully Stan until he quits.
Not happening. He's already been given protected status.

Boss was asking coworker what the status was. Coworker simply said she wasn't sure because his texts were unclear because of language barrier. To which boss replied, "I'm sure he speaks better English than I speak [foreign language]." AKA - how dare you criticize my new fave employee!

On Friday, when we were working late, boss was over at his cube asking him his plans for the weekend. I have been here 6 mos, I have NEVER been asked anything remotely similar.

Also, boss hosts people of Stan's ethnic background over for a certain American holiday - Stan got the invite on Friday.

Stan will be here longer than I, I can almost guarantee it.

Yeah, I'd be sending my resume out ASAP if I were you. Your boss sounds incompetent.

Here's the thing. My boss is technically very good at his job. He just sucks managing people.

The pay here is very good, the benefits are great. The commute is a dream. I've only been here 6 months. What if I go somewhere else and it's just as bad or worse? This is my dilemma.

Stan's actual supervisor is out on maternity leave. She rules the roost here and the boss trusts her implicitly (this is a whole other issue...) She isn't gonna go for Stan's BS. So right now, that's the hope we're clinging to.

Wouldn't 'managing people' be a decent portion of his job? I switch my vote; kill Stan, frame your boss.

When maternity leave person is here, she manages everyone but me. Since she's out - he's doing it.

I'm in [remote] training all week, and so far, haven't really learned anything new. I have a feeling that this will continue until Friday's lesson.

Today's Stan musings:

(And stop me if these are getting annoying)

What happened with the wife is still under debate. She hit her head on a desk, but then there was talk of her hitting her head on the sink, but then falling into a desk and ultimately needing stitches on her back. There was "blood everywhere." To the point he called an ambulance (enjoy that bill).

Today he tells coworker that he needs to leave at 3 to go to the dentist. (To recap: yes, he wants to cut out early a day after he no-showed for a meeting). He does tell her that he'll come back afterwards. She goes over to tell him to not worry about coming back and he tells her oh wait, he had to cancel the dentist appointment, they don't take our insurance.

Around 3:40, she walks by and he's packing up. So she slows her roll and he says "oh, I'm leaving for the dentist." She says, I thought you cancelled? "I found a different dentist that takes our insurance." So....a) you clearly spent your time today calling dentists, and 2) you didn't think you needed to mention to anyone you were leaving early again?

While the rest of us are busting our asses to meet the Friday deadline.

I'm going on vacation this Saturday for a week, and it couldn't come at a better time. I'm hitting that work "wall"....where every little thing annoys you and you just try to make it through the day without making the news. At first I found the stories amusing - now I effing HATE that guy. HATE. THAT. GUY.

Look, if you're gonna print things out double-sided, at least have the decency to kill yourself first...
