She is the VP of HR...I don't really have those credentials yet, TBH. She also gets pulled in on a ton of stuff and has been putting in 60-70+ hour weeks. I appreciate the encouragement, but that's just not what I want in my life.

Nah. My wife already has to work Monday so the three day weekend is already kind of awkward. But I start school full time this weekend so I'll just be sitting in front of the fire reading all day anyway. LAME.

We get out early on the weekday before a holiday, so I didn't bother taking off, since I'll be leaving around noon.

This is actually the first full week I'm working since like the first week of December I think. Which, for me, is crazy, even if holiday-aided...

Everyone in my office has a back-up that can fill in if they are out of the office .

I currently do not. I thought that was something that was easily determined from the context of my post.
