Imagine working on the team this "rock star" will end up and reading that job post. Does management not think you are a rock star since you already work there? A bad team who badly needs a "rock star"? Then the person gets hired lets the "rock star" description get to their head and they end up not being a rock star or just cocky. And why does it have to be "rock star"? What about "rap star" or "hall of famer"?

Bad for business, IMO.

So...new guy started today. He is of the certain ethnic demographic that management is all hot & heavy to hire.

One of his questions today was "What's an exclamation point?" Ooookay.

At lunch we went to Burgatory. He did the make your own burger. Thought he ordered a burger on a bun. He actually ordered a crab cake on lettuce.

This is gonna end well.

Also told us he recently got married. Up until that point, he "didn't realize there were so many differences between men and women."
