How do you figure that? Part of my job is to ensure that keys always work. If they don't work, it's a problem.

lots of people in my practice work from home more than they work in the office. and we average probably about 5 conference calls per day per person. so the question is...how many people do i talk to per day that are sitting on the toilet?

Was told that I fly out to California on Friday at like 7:30 this week. Made me feel like I was back at the consulting agency.

Bathrooms echo so badly that I think it is obvious when someone on the phone is in there. Poor form!

Noise-cancelling headsets help.

I had to help give a presentation at a seminar for people who use our expense system.

Now they all know who I am... And I still have no idea who these people are.

well then here's the ultimate question...is it sexual harassment if you are peeing and conversing with a female staff member at the same time - keeping in mind where your hands are while peeing.

I've dropped a deuce while talking to people before...never any work calls though, and certainly never in a public restroom.

No issues at home. But at a work restroom? Definitely not, though I have coworkers who feel differently.

There have been times when I'm deucing at work and a guy comes in with his phone on speaker (hopefully muted) while at the urinal. I'm sorry, just leave your phone at your desk, I'm sure the meeting participants won't miss you.

i think the only appropriate response is to rip a loud one or yell something unseemly while the guy takes himself off mute and starts talking.

this scenario happened on the reg in my last corporate bathroom, but we had a bunch of scumbags walking the halls, so it was expected

i'm at a larger, fairly prestigious (#notabigdeal) company now with our own bathrooms. everyone behaves themselves. in 18 months, i've never even heard anything from the stalls. which is sort of unbelievable.

We are in a brand new office building, and we share it with Penn Medicine. Thankfully, Penn Medicine has their own bathrooms, so there aren't a bunch of old people coming into ours and making a mess (yes, you know it happens all the time). For now, our bathroom is wonderfully peaceful as there are only 3 or 4 guys in the office. That will of course change once other businesses move into the suites.

When I worked on City Line Avenue in Philly (ugh), I can't begin to tell you how many street bums wandered in off the sidewalk to crap everywhere, bathe themselves, do drugs, etc. We don't have a lock on this building, but thankfully we are in an area outside of West Chester that does not get any foot traffic.
