I think my company decided to build their 2nd building about 6 months too late... we're completely out of space. There are no more cubicles left, no more parking spots, warehouse is filled to the brim. It's going to be an interesting few months before the new building is up and ready to go.

They already started with our staff that's only on site a few days a month. If I have to start sharing my space, I might just take a vacation until the construction is done.Enter: Cubicle sharing.

Yup...our company has grown a ton since I started in August 2017 (we actually moved into the new space on my first day). Thankfully, I have my own office so I'm not going anywhere, but we are at critical mass now.I think my company decided to build their 2nd building about 6 months too late... we're completely out of space. Our company actually does much better when there are stricter regulations in place...

Same thing here, except i started getting mine around Thursday or Friday. I think I'm on the downside of the head cold or whatever I have. The entire time that I've been sick has been a blur.I honestly don't understand how that time goes so fast. It felt like I blinked, but it didn't help that I had a nasty sinus sickness starting the day after Christmas.12 days off coming to an end. This may be worse than any Monday.

My co-worker and cube neighbor still says "Wazzzzzup!" He says this to everybody when he first sees or talks to them on the phone. That commercial is nearly 20 years old.

On a rare occasion, he'll hit 'em with a "How YOU doin?"
Other than those two absolutely horrible things, he's an okay dude.

My wife has got to be a magnet for terrible bosses.
Her boss just sent her a performance review invite for 9 am tomorrow and wants a detailed list of everything she does, signicifant accomplishments, training plans, etc on 3 hours notice. And won't reschedule. Reeks of "oh sht I forgot to do this earlier" on her part.
I guess she also randomly adjusted time sheets last week for those hourly employees not taking a lunch break on a mandatory vendor visit/working lunch.

Wait... there was a required working lunch and the boss changed it on their time sheets so they don't get paid for it? That doesn't sound legal.

It's probably also a violation to not somehow reflect a lunch break.Wait... there was a required working lunch and the boss changed it on their time sheets so they don't get paid for it? That doesn't sound legal.

I'm hourly and just put in my 8 hours. I don't worry about putting in the half hour unpaid lunch. Haven't had anyone yell at me yet so I assume I'm okayIt's probably also a violation to not somehow reflect a lunch break.Wait... there was a required working lunch and the boss changed it on their time sheets so they don't get paid for it? I think that the lunch was one hour and those who normally inky take a half hour put down a half hour. My wife usually takes a whole hour so she wasn't affected by the modification but certainly was by the whole "working lunch" thing

Yeah as an hourly employee, working lunches are bs. And you can bet your ass I mark the extra time on my time sheet.

She travels a decent bit in this job too. Which I always thought was BS. If the job requires travel she should be salaried.
