I was driving down Penn Ave yesterday trying to get to Children's hospital and had to poop. I stopped at the getgo right in (?) Wilkinsburg. Would advise against ever stopping there. And they didn't even have a bathroom.

When I was dating my wife, that was part of the commute between our places of residence. One time we were going out somewhere and we both had to drive our separate cars. She told me before hand she needed to get gas first. She stopped at that GetGo and I told her to never stop there again. Two weeks later there was a shooting there and a month after that a car chase where some SUV flipped and nearly slammed into a pump.

The few occasions I drive into the office I drive down Penn to get to bakery square and that whole stretch before you to like Point Breeze is really shady haha.

Yeah it was pretty bad. Boarded windows, a security guard (at 8:30am?) and not even a public restroom. I figured GetGo was my best chance at a gas station having one but I definitely screwed up.

I had my wife's car which means I didn't have my gun on me either, but I figured 8:30 am I'd be fine. Boy I was wrong. I'd have never stopped there after dark.

Yeah not the first time. Probably my 6th or 7th trip there. Was there last June. The site is in Kearney and I'm staying in Harrison. Last time the restaurant I decided to go to was right next to Red Bull stadium right before a soccer game. Bad choice, but there's pretty much nothing else around.

Nice thing is I rent a car, drive out whenever I want and drive back whenever I want.

Was there about 15 years ago for work. I thought it was beautiful, especially flying in with the mountains and everything. Hit up a Jazz game. That was fun. We actually stayed in Park City, so didn't really spend a ton of time downtown, but I think you'll enjoy it.

Might come home with a wife or two also.

I have friends that live in Jersey City. It's a nice place. Wife's cousin lives in Fawn something or other, also nice.

Before this job I used to have to go to Newark all the time. Between there and Kearny, that's a whole lot of nasty.

I'll echo what the others said. Just go with the speech. Be matter of fact, let them absorb the news.

probably a decade ago now, I had to go around to remote service technicians who were in their vehicles all day. It was very awkward to meet them at a restaurant, give them the speech, and then call them a cab to take them home.

I don't envy you, but remember you didn't make this decision.

I haven't been to the Jersey shore in decades, because they're all trash. You can keep them.
