I'm thinking like 450, but that's purely speculation BTU

Necessary is highly debatable, IMO.

It depends on how you use it. It facilitates networking, which is a good thing if you're in the job market.

I have a very stark line of demarcation between who gets the Facebook and who gets the LinkedIn, and I think I maybe only have less than a dozen people on both.

I don’t plan on ever working for another organization, so no thanks.

Certainly not necessary, but I have gotten my last two jobs by the hiring managers sending me a LinkedIn message. The job I am in now I was actually headhunted by a search firm. I've said it before, but it's the first time that current employees have a way to basically say they are looking without it being considered taboo by their current employer.

*sigh*

Had to have my work machine hard reimaged to Win10 today. Backed up all my data. Except the OneNote which insists on saving locally instead of on the share drive so all of my working notes and procedures from the last year are gone. What a pain in the ass, especially since I double checked to make sure it was backed up, except the file I checked wasn't the actual file OneNote was using. My fault ultimately but you had to know of all the products I backed up the MS one would give me the biggest problem.

haha I had multiple syncing issues today dealing with onedrive and onenote. I LOVE their suite, but man it was frustrating today.

I may be one of the last holdouts on OneNote. Never really cared for the workflow, and didn't see any benefit from switching my current style.

If Google would expand Keep into a meaningful note taking tool I'd ditch OneNote.

Me: I need a 500GB LUN for this new QA environment
Storage Admin: I can't give you anything until you can tell me how much you'll need in Prod
Me: a) That makes no sense, as this is for QA only and b) it's impossible to give you an estimate when we haven't done any work in it
SA: I still need a Prod estimate
Me: Logs into console, carves out the LUN myself, attaches it my QA environment, calls it a day

Dude's giving me **** about storage on a QA array for a QA environment. GTFO.

I couldn’t wait for him to drag his feet any longer, as the initiative is already months behind schedule. Serves me right for not simply doing it myself in the first place.

My wife works for a network of PT clinics as a floating aid, she finds out her work schedule the night before via text and she works everywhere from New Castle to Bellevue to Oakmont depending on need. It ends up being part time most weeks and the schedule blows for trying to plan anything.

She was asked by one of the clinics to interview for a full time position with them, at their Perry Hwy location which is close to us. Sounds like the interview is basically a formality. It's been a pretty **** month for her so I'm hoping this isn't some kind of f***ery and she is working full time next pay period.
She got it. Woooo. :thumb:
