I was on LinkedIn for about two minutes and scrolled to a typical post from an attractive woman with spotty experience who should not have as many connections as she does.

This time, it featured internal photos of her endometriosis surgery, as well as the scars post-op. Ostensibly to raise awareness. What the **** man.

I shared this with the clique via text, but I figured I'd share here too. I was giving a talk on Wednesday, and a guy that writes for a well regarded magazine was in the audience. He took a picture of me presenting and posted it to his LinkedIn. I'm not sure why he didn't look at it and go "oh... yikes. I'll grab another picture." but oh well...

I feel you. I was on a podcast and they recorded video too, for promotion on linked in. The still shot used in the LinkedIn post has me pursing my lips and looking away from the camera, mid sentence. I look so angry. They could have started at the beginning where I was smiling.

Welp, I've snagged a pretty big interview for Wednesday. Have to remember how to do these things again.

One slight advantage -- I'm interviewing with someone I worked with 20 years ago so at least there's some common ground.
