Loved HIMYM, but it started getting boring from season 5 onwards. Could never get in to Scrubs, though. House M.D. and Psych for the win!You guys are trending down in my eyes right now.
Scrubs and HIMYM = Awesome

Worst/Best Catchphrases of All Time
I nominate "How you doin'?" as worst ever, but I see it's already a nominee for best ever. The conflict.
This is a weird one for me. I used to hate it, but Joey just makes me laugh. He's usually the one character I like the least, but I just love him on that show. Especially for the fact that he always is the one to get told things he shouldn't know. I know a lot of people probably don't like Friends, but it has a soft spot for me. Finally got my gf to watch the damn show lol, she hates Seinfeld so at least we have something.
Sopranos is the best, and I'm happy they never gave anyone a catchphrase. "Oh!" and "Forgettaboutit" don't count.

That's a good one as well.Leave the gun, take the cannoli
I've always loved the beginning of Goodfellas "Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a gangster" One of my favorite first lines. Reminds me of Happy Gilmore "Ever since I was young, I loved hockey"

Bam! Emeril Lagasse. Love it.

That is a good one. Hard to make it sound good. Always hated "pow" from billy maze (sp?) which is weird because it's almost indentical

I've always been partial to mafia related television and film, even the less than spectacular offerings. HBO films' gotti being one of my guilty pleasures, even though Armand Assante wasn't a particularly good actor. Its incredible how many people from that film HBO brought along for the Sopranos. I still say some Tony Sopranoisms in jest "gabbagoul" being one of em.

Completely agree, never saw gotta so I should watch it. "Gabbagoul" is awesome. Seen the series twice and contemplating starting the third because of the lack of great showsI've always been partial to mafia related television and film, even the less than spectacular offerings. "Simpsons already did it" Makes me laugh, I'm a huge Simpsons fan (who isn't)
Speaking of South Park, I think "Took er job" is really funny. It gets annoying when people say it, but when I watch the show its so funny. Especially when they make it sound like a bunch of roosters crowing.

I need context. I have no idea what this means.Yeah, Le-gunnn-dary is the obvious from that show. But I know how much PFiDC fears slaps and I was trying to work it in.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out Crime Story from 1986. Short-lived at 2 seasons and in the end tried to be Miami Vice with mobsters, but was outstanding for most of it in terms of story, writing and characters.I've always been partial to mafia related television and film, even the less than spectacular offerings. Excellent performances by Dennis Farina, Ted Levine and even Dice. Well-balanced ensembling that didn't feel obligated to give everyone everything.

Oh yeahhhhhh! Honestly its not the slap that would anger me about the show. Its how the adults would act.Context:I need context. I have no idea what this means.Yeah, Le-gunnn-dary is the obvious from that show. But I know how much PFiDC fears slaps and I was trying to work it in.

For what it's worth, you won. ABC(?) botched it and made an interesting book/concept a horrible show.
It saddens me you don't remember all of our petty spats.

Big fan of Farina. Picked this series up on DVD many moons ago on the rec by one of my older brothers. If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out Crime Story from 1986. People are confusing "catchphrase" with "quote".
"Leave the gun, take the cannoli" isn't a catchphrase because its spoken once. Its awesome, I agree, but hardly a catchphrase
