A triple peanut.
So simple, yet so true.

This really isn't irrational, but...........................................

The place I take my dogs every day is currently fostering a 10-week old kitten, and they are boarding a 13-week old mini Australian shepherd. It's a pretty sweet way to start your day by getting kitten head bumps and puppy kisses.

I'm obviously biased, but there is nothing cuter than a beautifully merled AS puppy.

Caulking. It is therapeutic and the end product can make a world of difference. I could do it all day every day.

When someone gets off the elevator on the wrong floor but has too much pride to get back on the elevator. Makes me giggle on the inside.

This isn't really irrational, but this is our 'makes you smile' kind of thread.

It's my wife's birthday today. I'm really grateful she's still having these. :thumb:

There was a visitor at work the other day with an AS as her service dog. My God, that was the most beautiful dog I've ever seen.

When you become old you'll find out all those commercials about rushing to the bathroom because you're prostate is the size of a basketball are true. The relief of getting to a men's room is amazing.Walking there seems makes a 30 second walk seem like 30 hours.
I don't know any guys my age that don't experience this.

Worst golf game I have ever played. Overhead, vintage prop planes and s beautiful blue sky.

1 of 7 rescue kittens, 3 - 4 weeks old is having an issue with adapting to living. Pooped on my shorts while I tried to calm him with a nice back rub. 12 hours later, he is still fighting and a look into his eyes says he had no idea he pooped on my shorts. 1/2 a day later, and he is still fighting. :thumb:

2 wild cherry jellie bellies to 1 cinnamon jelly belly. Little pleasure.

A very tasty IPA from GA. Graci.

Did not partake of any political nonsence.

At dinner with a few friends, the wife unit winked back.

Zac Brown festival was on.

Spring fever? No. Irrational delights.

Adios and vaya con dios
Yes I'm leaving CA,
Gonna lay in the hot sun and roll a big fat one
And play my guitar today....

Life was good today.

2:46 am PST, my phone goes bonkers with an Emergency Alert text. First thought that the fire alarm was active. Second thought, where the hell am I? Amber Alert in Houston? Nope, Tornado inbound, seek shelter. I know earthquake drill; wtf do I do for a Tornado in a Sheraton on the 5th floor? Oh yeah, stick the cell phone on the ledge and record it. Darkness every where until power transformers blow up in a blaze of green sparks. Low level Tornado, hotel still stands.

In Houston with the new company. Rally speeches galore for the 'new' restructure of the company and the airline ticket they purchased actually got me back home.

Home at midnight and six of seven rescue kittens kind of greet me when I come in. Kittens scream, yo. Loud. Kiss the dog, give a pet to the wife, and start to unpack. Two kittens have learned to climb stairs. All of those stairs. Now faced with a couple kittens looking for pets and back rubs. Dog looking for a pet. Wife wants a kiss.

Grabbed a nuke'em burrito from the freezer, grab a beer from the fridge, and sit down to watch TV. Miracle is on. Two kittens now sitting on each leg, microwave has finished beeping, and beer is now empty.

Life was good today. All 23 awaken hours of it.

December rescue dog found a weed. Now the dog is feeling the effects. Not "weed". Feeding the dog ice cubes. It's looking like dog needs to process this in a dog's brain to move back to spry. Got the night watch duty. Looking forward to dog puke. Really. My buddy.

Kitten update. Rescued 7. 6 are the stars of the casa. 2 are fixed, snip / snip, and have a home come Saturday. The other 4 are under 2 pounds, so we need to add weight before they can be fixed / neutered. We, " they" need to grow some muscle.

Some dude that I have never met or will meet put pedal to metal and cleared a 4 state drive in semi record time. Props to you, muscle man. Canonball run, the original, has Joe Klecko, wanting to roll with you.

Life, today, was good.

Smell some poop along the way. That way, you appreciate the roses.
