The faint odor of skunk
This is excellent and I agree with it.
You should get some weed or some old beer if that odor appeals to you.

Or, in the case of Yuengling, a new one would probably do the trick.

Never had that happen with Yuengling which I drink regularly and live not too far from. I've mostly experienced it with Euro beers (Heineken, St Paul Girl) but that was years ago and I'm guessing it was old.

Really? I like Yuengling but I seem to get at least one skunked bottle out of each six. Never had an issue with cans though.

I can't recall a time where I've had Heineken and it wasn't skunked.

The calm before the storm today (marathon monday). No one is in the streets yet, roads are closed so no cars out there. It is just so quiet and nice.

The fact the UPS driver for my neighborhood now knows my car, so when he see me driving up he races to move his truck out of my parking space. I don't mind waiting, but its still nice of him.

When you ask the guy working in the meat section if they have anymore ground pork or whatever, and he says "I" have some - not "we". That type of ownership of the situation makes me happy for some reason.

Not sure where to put this, but this seems to be an irrational enough place.

I'm happy. After not being happy from the age of 11 to 30 or so, I'm there. I see bad things in life as challenges rather than obstacles now. I love to whine and complain, but it's because I have very little pain to distract me. I attribute this to two things really: the natural settling of chemicals and hormones that weren't quite right through those years (diagnosed), and watching my wife beat her cancer without losing the part of her that made me fall in love with her.

Genuinely hope the rest of you that aren't quite there yet get over the hump. Even if it's as bad as it seems it doesn't have to stay that way. Cheers.

When you're waiting to make a left turn and one the car coming from the left and the one car coming from the right cross each other directly in front of you.

I'm pretty sure my book also played a part. ;)

But seriously, I'm very happy you're happy. Life's to short to not enjoy it.

I read about that too. Apparently when the Marshall's showed him his 50+ year old mug shot, they asked him if he'd seen that man and he replied, "Not in a very long time." Pretty cool story.

Dude got to live his good years as a free man. Now he'll get to live on the government's dime while he dies.

When we come inside after being in cold rain and take off our shoes, shower and put on socks and a hoodie. It's so cozy!

Certain music cords and intervals, melodies etc make me irrationally happy. A really good one (according to me) can make my hairs stand up or make my spine tingle.

On the way back from Papa Kaiser's house, there's this part of the ride that is lined with fir trees. No matter what time of day we reach this part of the road it is gorgeous and feels luxurious to me. Idk why.

When Kaiser walks through the door on Thursdays (because he gets Friday to Sunday off during the summer)

When I wake up and I see that our cats are sleeping alongside us.

And I hate to say it but Starbucks Holiday cups. I always think, "So it begins. "

Anything to do with Christmas makes me maniacally happy. You might be like, "Is that a serial killer, the one with the wide eyes and clown like smile in front of the santa hats?! " And I'm just like, "Nah man, I just saw icicle lights were on sale and I'm going to sleigh that deal. "

When a workman turns up on time.

Happened this morning and I'm genuinely delighted as the rest of my day can now proceed as planned. :P

Sadly it's a delight because it happens too rarely.

Very true. We moved into a new house almost a year ago and it's great because we have everything under warranty so the house builder is on the hook for fixing stuff.

To be fair to them, they do fix stuff but they just can't turn up at the agreed time.

I don't know if I posted this... but a few weeks ago I introduced 4 people to the pleasures of Kottentail. Hunting Season will probably be viewed in a couple weeks.
